Option 1. Check your original battery Model Number
This is the best way to find the right battery for your motorcycle ( motor bike ), ATV ( Quad Bike ), Boat, Car etc. This model number normally clear printed on the battery label.
Option 2. Check with your original bike model and year
Search your battery using your bike model will not lead you to the correct page straight away. Battery may different due to different manufactory years. So, do not forget exact year of your bike when you search.
Option 3. Check your original battery size and CC
If your original battery is lost, damaged that you can not find the model number of it, you can measure the size of the battery slot. Then you may search by your battery slot size and your engine size to find your right battery.
Difference between ACID, AGM, GEL Batteries
Acid Battery: Old type of batteries, and you need to fill the acid yourself, then charge it overnight. This type of battery cost you less but more on shipping.
AGM: AGM is one kind of material put inside the battery, and makes the battery “Maintenance-Free”. AGM is not a type of battery but a type of material. AGM used with both ACID and GEL. When use with ACID, the battery is called a “Maintenance-Free Battery”. You just need to fill the battery, cap it, charge it and go. A little easier to deal with the basic acid batteries.
GEL Battery: This is a commonly used battery nowdays. Smaller, lighter and easy to use. Since they are filled with a gel matter, they are also even more resistant to vibration.
Lithium Battery: The most advanced batteries available today. Small, more capacity (AH), long life circles. But it is one of the most expensive battery between ACID, Maintenance Free, GEL batteries.
